Hello Kitty Wedding Ideas

Charming greetings to all our Lots of Love Readers!

Sometimes, when you are planning a special celebration like a wedding, you seek inspiration in things that have made a mark in your life. For some, it can be a movie or a trinket from your past. For others, it can be a memorabilia or a favorite childhood character like Hello Kitty.

This adorable kitty has won the hearts of many. Hello Kitty is a fictional character produced by Sanrio,  Japan in 1975 and was brought to the United States a year after. Little girls love Hello Kitty and collect Hello Kitty merchandise from dolls, to stationery, mugs and all other stuff. Because of its fan base, the company created theme parks in Japan dedicated to everything Hello Kitty.

Last year there has been a controversy involving Hello Kitty saying that Hello Kitty is a lady and not a cat. It  caused great shock and horror to many netizens. But eventually, it panned out after some explanation made by its creators. Despite that, Hello Kitty lovers still remained loyal to the character that they have come to love through the years.

Here are some Hello Kitty stuff that were featured in several Hello Kitty themed weddings:

Wedding Color Inspiration: Pink and Navy

Warm Greetings to all our Lots of Love Readers!

Summer will soon be over. But before that happens, allow us to share with you another awesome summer wedding color combo: fuchsia and navy. These two contrasting colors combined bring together 2 personalities - the strong character of blue and the pink hue's sweet and sultry appeal.

Here are our choices for a navy and fuchsia wedding :

Something elegant. An invitation that plays with different fonts and an interesting border.

Because it's summer, you have an excuse for having some fun with parasols.
Cheer  up the groom's suit with a navy and fuchsia tie.
Something funky - matching socks for the groom and his best men.
Floral bouquet in different shades of pink.

If you are feeling a little creative, you can always make your very own brooch bouquet of your favorite trinkets.

The bridesmaids all pretty in blue and the flower girls all charming in pink.

Create eye-catching centerpieces. Go for navy linens and adorn them with elements in pink like a ball of yarn, candles and flowers propped in tall and short vases.

Have a table setting that highlights your wedding motif. Use pink napkins and blue linens.
Add a wow factor to your wedding reception arrangement. Hang floral decorations and votive candles over reception tables.

Simple and chic. Arrange floral centerpieces in white pots and use photo frames to display table numbers.

Something fancy. Blue goblets and pink flowers arranged in vases of different shapes and sizes.

Add some light treatment to set the mood for a romantic evening wedding reception.

Because you want everyone to have a slice of the cake, why not serve wedding cupcakes in different flavors.

Super cute cake toppers.

Wedding Color Inspiration: Papaya and Olive

Happy greetings to all our Lots of Love readers! We love summer weddings. It is a great season to showcase vibrant colors, bask in the sun and indulge in great food and great company. And to set the mood for the festive occasion, we picked a color combination that's cheerful and fun - papaya and olive. This combo made it on The Knot's 4 Hot Summer Color Wedding Combos.

Here are some great tips for putting together an awesome summer wedding in papaya and olive color combo:

Floral patterns make a great accent on a summer wedding invitation.

Go for a vibrant colored bouquet.

Because it is summer and you are having an outdoor or beach wedding,
get your bridesmaids to wear printed dresses.

But if you want something formal, you can opt for tulle skirts in olive.

Add a splash of color to the groom and the groom's men attire with an orange tie.

Simple escort cards in papaya and olive.

Set-up interesting centerpieces. Arrange them in varying heights to add depth to your arrangement.

Opt for patterned napkins and stationery for a lively table setting.

Simple DIY decor - painted bottles topped with limes.

Go for subdued colors for your linens and floral centerpieces that burst with color.

Mix and match patterns, solid prints, flowers, candles and fruits to create an elegant table setting.

Treat guests with scrumptious appetizers like these mini crab cakes with papaya salsa

Give your guests a taste of summer by serving them papaya margaritas.

Beat the heat with some popsicles.

Multi-tier cakes in different flavors are a popular choice for summer weddings.

Favor in a box - pack your favorite treats and share them with your guests.
