We are thinking of Spring and we envision a romantic and vintage inspired wedding. The perfect color to go with this soft theme is Violet Tulip. This color is one of the forerunners in Pantone's Spring Color Trends for 2014.

Here are some ideas on how you can have a Violet Tulip motif for your wedding.

The beauty is in the tiny details like this groom's tie which matches the wedding color scheme.

Embossed invitation cards have a vintage appeal. And violet tulip table place cards just look pretty dainty.

Before you cut the cake, make sure you have your picture taken with it so you will remember how beautiful it looks. Place macaroons in clear containers to double up as decor and sweet treats at your wedding reception.
You can also use a wide range of violet flowers and candles as table centerpieces.
To match the softness of this theme, homemade soaps makes a nice thank-you present. Or maybe dainty cookies?

Whether you plan on having an elaborate wedding or a simple one, you should know that you do not have to do everything by yourself. Never hesitate to ask help from friends, relatives or experts who can help you achieve your dream wedding.

Lots of Love,

A Radiant Orchid Wedding

Hello Lots of Love Readers!

The news is out - Radiant Orchid is Pantone's 2014 Color of the Year. It is a  vibrant combination of pink, fuchsia and purple. Purple and violet hues are popular among women in their 20s and 30s. And so it should come as no surprise if radiant orchid will be a popular palette for weddings in 2014.

Here are some lovely ideas on how you can incorporate this color into your wedding motif.

The Orchid flower comes in many variations and colors. You can choose an assortment in hues of purple, pink and white to make an attractive bouquet for the bride and boutonniere for the groom. If orchids are hard to come by, you can also use dahlias, hydrangeas, roses, calla lilies and trachelium.

The warm tone of the Radiant Orchid looks good on most skin types.

And on nails too!
Silver and radiant orchid wedding invitations exude elegance and charm.
Ladies love pretty frosted sugar cookies as treats at bridal showers!

And you can partake of that dainty wedding cake adorned with fresh flowers. The ombre cake in purples is the perfect display of Pantone's 2014 color pick!
Or you can give out petite cupcakes for your guests to enjoy even after the party is over.

Our clients love glasses of different heights filled with water, votive candles and orchids. They make for simple, elegant and beautiful table centerpieces.

Make Radiant Orchid the color of your wedding and spread the love on your wedding day!

Lots of Love,

A Christmas Wedding

Hello Lots of Love readers!

It's holiday time, if you haven't noticed, and we are LOVING every second of it. What's better than the combination of holiday festivities and the celebration of marriage!

Today we are sharing some tips on having a Christmas wedding. Enjoy and share your thoughts!

If you plan on a Christmas wedding, it is wise to plan ahead. Make an early announcement so your friends, relatives and guests are sure to attend and celebrate with you on your special day.

Here are some things worth considering:

A picture of the happy couple on the invitation card gives it a personal touch.

The cold weather should not stop you and your favorite girls from dressing up for the occasion.

Make a statement in red! Add the spirit of Christmas to the wedding. It can be subtle additions such as adding a holly to the groom's boutonniere or bold additions like wearing those red stilletos!

Lovely reds flowers make a wonderful contrast to an ivory wedding gown. Combine roses, alstromeria and hypericum berries to add a festive holiday feel to it.

Guests will likely talk about the poinsettias and Christmas balls which double up as place card holders. And those Christmas decorations that make up the centerpiece on your reception tables.

Let your cake tell a story - Santa delivering your wedding cake, a Christmas tree or a bouquet of poinsettias in a basket. You may also want to try out novel ideas such as festive cake pops and cupcakes.

Surprise your guests with an assortment of Christmas flavors (i.e. red velvet, eggnog and peppermint) underneath that coat of icing.

Go with the whole Christmas theme and give out Christmas decorations with your monogram and names on it. That way, your guests will remember you and your wedding each and every Christmas season. And spread the love with some chocolate dipped strawberries.

You can choose a wedding photo later on and make it your Christmas card for next year (aka your first wedding anniversary).
Make Christmas more meaningful by making it the first day of the rest your your life together as husband and wife.

Lots of Love,

Winter Is Wonderful

Winter is wonderful!

The festive air during winter makes for a wonderful time for weddings. For a winter wedding, you can go with the blue and silver motif.  Blue symbolizes serenity, purity and fidelity. Paired with silver, it exudes elegance and sophistication.

Wedding invitations do not only serve as an announcement of your wedding but also a teaser of what guests will expect on your wedding day.

Ivory roses accentuated with navy berries, thistles, eucalyptus and mistletoe makes a great bridal bouquet. For a vintage look, have one with silver and blue jewels and crystals. You may also use a combination of several blue flowers if you want to go for an eclectic look.

Every bride should be surrounded by her trusted girlfriends who will assist her during her wedding day. And don't they all look good on blue and silver?

Continue the blue and silver motif into the reception with blue and silver on the table setting.

A cake with ivory icing with blue and silver decorations make a great centerpiece. Of course, the cake is not only meant to be an eye candy but something to be shared during the festive occasion. You can always choose to have your favorite flavors for each layer of the cake. But if you want something exciting, you can try any of these Christmas flavors: candy cane, eggnog, mocha truffle and gingerbread.

Guests will be delighted to bring home any of these wedding favors: bottle opener, bookmark, assorted chocolates and tea lights.

Enjoy the crisp weather, the lights everywhere and most of all the love in the air.

Lots of Love,

Susan

Colorful flowers add beauty to every gathering. You can choose from a variety of flowers in bloom during the fall. Popular color choices for thanksgiving wedding are burgundy, rust, orange, harvest gold,  plum, brown and green.
